Make your new year resolution with “1000 Kids, One Message”

So 2012 is coming to an end, and everyone is making new year resolutions. We’ve got one for kids aged 5 to 15. Even if you don’t fall within this age range, do spread the word!

Come 29 December, Resorts World Sentosa will be the proud venue host for Celebrate the Sea – 1000 Kids, One Message, an annual event organized by the Ocean Geographic Society.

This is an initiative that brings together kids from ages 5 to 15 years old to make an important New Year’s Resolution, and pledge “I am the future, I won’t eat shark fins”.

The event will be held from 12.30pm to 3pm on the 29 December 2012 (Saturday).

Programme:

12:30pm – 1:00pm – Registration

1:15pm – Programme starts, featuring a performance by Marine Life Park’s Education team, prize presentation for ‘Celebrate the Sea’ Children’s Art Competition.

2:30pm – Children will gather to take the pledge “I am the future, I don’t eat shark fins”

If you want to do your part to support this cause, bring your relatives or friends aged between 5 and o 15 years old to take the pledge!

All registered children participating in the pledge will receive a complimentary admission to the S.E.A. Aquarium.
