Touch, learn and create at our community events

“Nature is not a place to visit. It is home.”

― Gary Snyder, Pulitzer Prize-winning American poet

From providing us with food and energy to moderating the climate, the ocean affects our life in more ways than we think. But human activities such as overfishing, habitat destruction and pollution have taken a significant toll on the ocean.

To continue engaging the public on marine animals and the importance of ocean conservation, S.E.A. Aquarium is working with local Community Clubs at three fun, interactive events.

First up: Children’s Day Carnival at Bishan

S.E.A. Aquarium public outreach

The star of our booth is none other than our touch pool. Here’s your opportunity to get up-close with beautiful and gentle marine life like sea stars and sea cucumbers. Kids can pick up these creatures for a closer look while our staff will be on hand to share fun facts with them. There will also be a craft station where kids can try out art and craft activities.
