Join us at our first Dive Social Night

Together with Orca Scuba, a boutique PADI dive centre based in Singapore and Pulau Rawa, Malaysia, S.E.A. Aquarium brings you the first networking event for dive and conservation enthusiasts – Dive Social Night.

Dive Social Night

Get ready to mingle with like-minded individuals and exchange ideas with industry players. We have also invited several guest speakers to share with us the latest on conservation initiatives:

Danny Dwyer
PADI Asia Pacific Vice President of Training, Sales and Field Services
Danny Dwyer
Danny began his diving career in Australia and worked his way up to the PADI Asia Pacific top executive team. He will be highlighting the importance of scuba diving in conjunction with conservation and education.

Jeroen van de Waal
CEO and Founder of Orca Scuba
Jeroen van de Waal
A Dutch native based in Singapore, Jeroen is the CEO and Partner of AOG Offshore, a leading supplier to the offshore Oil & Gas industry. An avid diver himself, he founded Orca Scuba which organises specialised dive excursions throughout Southeast Asia, and delivers customised dive training and certification packages. Jeroen will be talking about his new book on conservation “Together we can Turn Tides – A Manifesto to save the Oceans, Planet & Ourselves”.

Neal Cross
Conservation Enthusiast
Neal Cross
When he’s not shaping the future of banking as Managing Director and Chief Innovation Officer of DBS Bank, Neal is usually knee deep in conservation matters. On weekends, he lives in the Sumatran jungle where he founded Hotel Orangutan, a social enterprise that saves the critically endangered Sumatran Orangutan, and gives local villagers employment and education. At Dive Social Night, he will be sharing on Leafs and Reefs – a global eco-tourism initiative that transforms destructive non sustainable income generation into long term profitable income generation for the local population through education.

Kelly Timmins
Senior Manager of Conservation & Education, S.E.A. Aquarium

Kelly oversees the education, outreach and conservation programmes at S.E.A. Aquarium. She will talk about the importance of public education and community outreach, as well as unveil our upcoming conservation initiatives, and programmes for this year’s World Oceans Day celebration which will take place in May-June.
