Guardians of the S.E.A.A. spreads conservation awareness among team members of Resorts World Sentosa

Guardians of the S.E.A.A. has been actively spreading conservation awareness among team members of Resorts World Sentosa. In the past two weeks, they set up a booth near the staff canteen to reach out to team members during lunch time.

A thought provoking poster to raise awareness of plastic pollution and marine conservation. RWS team members enjoy a preferential membership rate of S$5 instead of S$8.
Team members fishing out as much plastic trash from the tank (representing the ocean) in 15 seconds.
Inside the tank are plastic debris which can be fished out relatively easily, as well as plastic micro beads (as seen on Niv’s finger) which are almost impossible to remove. This game showcases the different types of plastic trash that pollutes the ocean and why it is such a challenge to clean it up.
Underside of the tank shows plenty of micro beads which represent microplastics. Due to their size, they are not as easily picked up as typical plastic trash.
Conservation team members Ee Lin and Niv explaining the importance of marine conservation.
In another game, team members were asked to guess how long the different types of materials take to degrade in the ocean.
Indicating their interest to become a Guardians of the S.E.A.A.
