Ever wondered how S.E.A. Aquarium is involved in marine conservation? Do you know that we have a marine conservation group called Guardians of the S.E.A.A.?
All the answers can now be found at the newly revamped Guardians of the S.E.A.A. zone located just before the touchpool in S.E.A. Aquarium. Here, you’ll learn about the importance of marine conservation, conservation initiatives the aquarium has been and are still involved in, and how you can do your part for the environment as a member of Guardians of the S.E.A.A..
Previously, the area comprised only of a simple table setup against a wall backdrop with some information on Guardians of the S.E.A.A.:
Today, it has expanded into a conservation themed zone that looks like this – with new wall vinyls and a conservation showcase in about twice the amount of space:
The new conservation showcase touches on our three key priorities of plastic pollution, sustainable seafood and climate change. These priorities help to fulfil the Guardians of the S.E.A.A.’s mission and strategies, and to encourage everyone to do their part for a “Healthy Ocean, Healthy Us” .
The original wall backdrop now sports new content on Guardians of the S.E.A.A..
If you are already a member of Guardians of the S.E.A.A., do check out this new zone when you attend our next event on 20 July: Scavenger Hunt. Event and signup details here
