Educational programmes at Maritime Experiential Museum
History and social studies are best learnt with hands-on practical experiences rather than out of a text book.
Since March 2018, the Maritime Experiential Museum has introduced new immersive learning programmes for school groups, some of which are designed to complement the Ministry of Education’s Social Studies (Primary) syllabus and History syllabus. These engaging programmes can effectively help students gain a better appreciation of social, historical and cultural issues that they are inquiring into from an authentic Field-based Learning experience at the museum.
