Welcome to Fishmas season at the S.E.A. Aquarium (that’s “Christmas season” for you landlubbers). For the festive period, our Merry Fishmas activity trail features the 12 fishes from the 12 Days of Fishmas song (or “Christmas fish” for short). It’s a song adapted from the 12 Days of Christmas song. Instead of “my true love”, it’s diving Santa who’s giving the presents.
The activity trail is an educational and fun way for kids (and those young at heart) to learn about the different marine animals at S.E.A. Aquarium.
Grab the Merry Fishmas activity trail sheet next to the entrance under the manta poster. You’ll find the Christmas fishes at the back of the activity sheet in the 12 Days of Fishmas song.
The questions are inside the sheet. There are 12 questions, each related to a fish.
Scratch the correct answer. And at the end of the trail, kids who have all the right answers can get a prize! Sorry grownups, you don’t get a prize.
Where are the answers?
You might ask, “Twelve fishes? That’s too many to track!” You don’t have to Google the answers, you can find them inside the aquarium.
Here’s an easy way to spot where the answers are. Keep a look out for the presents left underwater by diving Santa.
Near the presents, you will see a panel that will give you a hint. (OK, maybe not a hint but the full answer.)
Scratch the right answer on the activity sheet. Once you have all 12 answers, hold on to your activity sheet,
Pass them to the friendly S.E.A. Aquarium folks before the exit of the Aquarium. You’ll find them in front of this photo op.
