Visiting S.E.A. Aquarium with kids [Guest posts]

Today we have two guest posts from families who have visited S.E.A. Aquarium with children. Read on to find out how their experiences were.

First up, we have a review of S.E.A. Aquarium that was originally shared on by Bel Yeoh. The folks at, a travel website for parents, kindly let us publish an edited excerpt of the review:

Corals at S.E.A. Aquarium

We’ve been to many top rated aquariums and oceanariums during our travels. But this time, we didn’t have to bring along our passports this time to be blown away in our own backyard at Sentosa Island! The S.E.A. Aquarium at Resorts World Sentosa’s Marine Life Park is simply impressive.

Children will also enjoy the many aquarium activities at the Discovery Touch Pool. An interactive learning experience as guides share lessons about the sea star, sea urchin, sea cucumber and more.

S.E.A. Aquarium Touch Pool

To fully enjoy the titanic aquatic chambers, one should TRY to find a quiet corner. Facing the world’s largest viewing panel–36-metre (118 ft) wide and 8.3-metre (27 ft) tall–immerse your mind into the calming waters. You can almost feel like being at the bottom of the sea-bed watching the beautiful marine life dancing by.

The facility is well maintained and stroller friendly. Washrooms are clean and there are ample F & B stations throughout. You should set aside about 3 hours to enjoy the exhibits…

Our kids love visiting aquariums and this qualifies as the largest aquarium in Singapore thus they decided it was the best marine aquarium.

Here’s an excerpt from the post:

Will says:

The places [in S.E.A. Aquarium] that I like are the two tunnels; one exhibiting sharks and the rays.

The giant viewing deck which resembles an auditorium gives you a good view on life underwater. I’m big and tall but standing next to the giant creatures made me a dwarf. This is a good place to go especially for kids.

Abbey: First stop was S.E.A. Aquarium at Resorts World Sentosa. This is the world’s biggest aquarium before China beat it last year. It housed a lot of marine creatures that you can ever imagine.

From the big walls of glasses, you can feel the greatness of the sea. The awesome and unique inhabitants of it and pretty perfect fishes.

We also saw some of the crews cleaning the glasses from the inside. Haha, it reminds me of the aquarium of my Tita Cely when I was young.
