S.E.A. Aquarium Society Social Night is the society’s networking event which aims to facilitate information sharing and collaboration among dive and conservation enthusiasts. In this second edition, we have invited guest speakers Jonn Lu, council member of Singapore Underwater Federation (SUF) and campaign leader of I’m FINished with FINS (IFWF), and a member of Interbanking Dive Club.
They will be sharing on their conservation efforts, and the latest happenings in the recreational scuba diving industry in Singapore.

In 2012, Jonn kickstarted the IFWF campaign in Singapore with a group of local volunteers. It was launched with Shark Savers as the initial campaign partner. He later took IFWF regional before going global in 2012-2014.
Jonn will be sharing on his IFWF campaign, as well as the recreational scuba diving scene in Singapore on behalf of SUF.
Interbanking Dive Club
A member of the club will be sharing with us how they got started, and how the interbank community plans to play a significant role in conservation. They will also be sharing some photos from their recent dive trips.
Kelly Timmins, Senior Manager of Conservation & Education, S.E.A Aquarium
Kelly oversees the education, outreach and conservation programmes at S.E.A. Aquarium. She will talk about the importance of public education and community outreach, as well as upcoming initiatives by the newly launched S.E.A Aquarium Society – the conservation institute of S.E.A. Aquarium.
