Celebrate World Animal Day with Guardians of the S.E.A.A.

Do you know that otters emit a musky smell from scent glands at the base of their tails to mark their territory? This scent also gives chemical cues as to identity, gender and reproductive state.

Join us at World Animal Day conservation night as we learn more about these adorable creatures from the experts at the Singapore Zoo. They will be sharing with us fun facts about otters, as well as how they care for these animals at the zoo in accordance to the highest standards of animal welfare.

S.E.A. Aquarium’s curatorial team will be doing a special manta ray enrichment session. Learn about the importance of these enrichment sessions as they will feed and interact with these majestic giants.

There will also be a special upcycling craft workshop where you can learn how to upcycle everyday materials instead of trashing them into the bins.

This event is recommended for participants age 6 and above.
Registration closes 25 October 2018, 12pm.
