The International Coastal Cleanup (ICC) is an annual event coordinated by The Ocean Conservancy worldwide to remove and collect data on marine debris from the world’s waterways.
This helps to educate the public on marine debris issues and to encourage collaboration with organisations to reduce debris in waterways and enhance aquatic environments.

Beach Cleanup
Date: 29 September 2018 (Saturday)
Time: 7.15am – 11.45am
Venue: Tanah Merah Beach Site 7 (Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal – map)
Meeting Points:
7.15am at RWS Waterfront arch (transport provided)
or
8.10am at Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal Car Park (meet at venue)
Itinerary:

| 8.40am | Arrive at Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal |
| 9.00am | Beach Cleanup begins |
| 10.00am | Group photo + trash disposal |
| 11.00am | Beach Cleanup ends |
| 11.45am | Back at RWS Coach Bay |

Note:
- Minimum age of participation is 7 years old. Children below the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
- Please seek approval from your supervisor if you are scheduled to be on duty.
- RWS Team Members can apply for Volunteer Leave for this event in the Employee Self Service Portal.
- More details will be sent to all confirmed participants nearer to the event date.
- Light snacks will be provided.
- Bottled water will NOT be provided. Please bring your own reusable bottles.
