Students learn best when they are enthusiastically engaged. This is especially true of young learners who developmentally have shorter attention spans and need to wiggle.

S.E.A. Aquarium has designed a series of interactive learning programmes for school groups to inspire and educate students on marine life and conservation, as well as maritime history. Here’s a quick look at what’s available.

Nursery and Kindergarten

S.E.A.2 Quest 1
This eye-opening tour will have the little ones going ooh and ahh as they are brought around the aquarium. Not only will they be introduced to a wide variety of marine life, they will even have the opportunity to touch marine creatures like sea stars to gain a better understanding of their anatomy and other amazing facts.

Seaman’s Tour
Uncover troves of treasure from the Maritime Silk Road. Explore the eight most prosperous ports of ancient maritime Asia and learn about distinctive local products, their value and the concept of maritime trade.

Dolphin Matters
How do dolphins communicate? Why is it that our actions have an impact on marine ecosystems? Discover more about dolphins, how certain species have adapted to fill a specific niche in nature, as well as understand the interactions between human and the natural world in this unique workshop.

Hidden City Unearthed
Experience history come alive through hands-on inquiry. Examine artefacts dating back more than 600 years and investigate pieces of evidence to reconstruct Singapore’s pre-colonial past.

Feeding Frenzy Trail
Everyone loves to eat and our marine residents are no different! Go behind the scenes with our education facilitators and witness how food is prepared for the different marine animals, and catch feeding sessions by our aquarists.
