Take your best spooky themed photo or video at S.E.A. Aquarium during our SEAA Wonders: Spooky Seas month.
Strike a scary pose next to any of our fascinating marine animals. EG. Take a picture of our toothy wolffish or video of our fierce looking sawfish and post them on Instagram to win prizes.
Here’s what you do:

Step 2 : Take a photo/ video with Spooky Sea theme at S.E.A. Aquarium.
Step 3 : Post your photo/video on Instagram and tag #seaaquarium.

Each photo winner will receive 2 tickets to a Ray Bay Experience (with complimentary Adventure Cove Waterpark entry), worth $148.
Each video winner will receive 2 tickets to a Sea Trek Experience, worth $476.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SPOOKY SEAS- SHOOT AND SHARE#SEAAQUARIUM CONTEST
The following terms and conditions (the “Terms and Conditions”) shall apply to MANTA RAY- SHOOT AND SHARE #SEAAQUARIUM CONTEST,which consists of a photo and a video contest (each a “Category”,collectively, the “Contest”).
Contest Duration
1) The Contest will commence 1000hrs, 1 October 2014, and will end at 2359 hrs,16 November 2014,unless withdrawn earlier by Resorts World Sentosa with two qualifying periods:
- 1000hrs, 1 October 2014 to 2359hrs, 19 October 2014; and
- 0000hrs, 20 October 2014 to 2359hrs, 16 November 2014.
(each a “Qualifying Period”)
Eligibility
2) The Contest is open to all persons who are at least 13 years of age (as of 30 September 2014).
Participationin theContest
3) To take part in the Contest, participants (“Participants”) will need to submit a photo, video or story (“Entry”) through one of the following social media platforms:
a) Facebook;
b) Instagram; or
c) Twitter.
(“Social Media”)
4) Participants must comply with the following requirements when submitting an Entry via the Social Media:
a) have an active account with any of the Social Media
b) the relevant Social Media account is not “hidden” or “private” throughout the entire Promotion Period; and
c) the Entry shall include the following hashtags (in its exact spelling):
i) #seaaquarium
Contest Mechanics
5) There will be a total of 12 winning entries, 6 from each Category (Photo and Video).
6) Resorts World Sentosa will select 3 best entries from each Category (Photo and Video) from entries submitted in each Qualifying Period on 20 October 2014 and 16 November 2014 respectively.
7) The winning entries shall be determined based on the quality of the Entry, which shall be determined in Resorts World Sentosa’s sole discretion.
8) The results of the winning entries from each Qualifying Period will be notified within a week of the end of contest.
9) Only Entries submitted during the respective Qualifying Period will be considered (i.e.Entries submitted for the first Qualifying Period will not be considered for the second Qualifying Period).
10) The respective winners of each Category will win the following:
a) Photo Category prize – 2 x Ray Bay Experience sessions and 2 x Adventure Cove Waterpark admission tickets
b) Video Category prize – 2 x SeaTrek ®Adventure sessions
11) The prize will be allocated to each winner by Resorts World Sentosa and winners are not entitled to choose their preferred dates of admission.
12) There is no limitation on the number of Entries that maybe submitted per Participant but each Participant may only win a prize once.
Notification of Contest Winners/Prize Collection
13) Winners will be notified via private message on their Social Media accounts (“Notification”).
14) Winners need to provide Resorts World Sentosa with the requested information set out in the Notification within 7 days of the Notification date, failing which prize will be forfeited.
15) Winners must collect their prize at any S.E.A. Aquarium Ticketing Booth within 30 days of the Notification date. Winners will be required to present the original Passport/NRIC/Work Permit for verification purposes at time of the collection.
16) Prizes are non-transferable, non-exchangeable and non-cashable. Resorts World Sentosa reserves the right to substitute the prizes for other prizes of similar value.
General Terms and Conditions
17) By participating in the Contest,the Participant is deemed to have accepted and agreed to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and any other instructions, terms and conditions that Resorts World Sentosa may issue from time to time.
18) By participating in the Contest,the Participant shall be deemed to have consented to Resorts World Sentosa’s collection,use and disclosure of the submitted Entry for the purposes of administering the Contest (which shall include publication of the Entry on Social Media for the purposes of announcing the winners). The Participant undertakes and warrants that he/she will obtain all necessary consents for Resorts World Sentosa to collect,use and disclose the Entry for the purposes set out herein.
19) Resorts World Sentosa shall not be liable for any third party’s misuse of the Participant’s submitted photographs or information as a result of the Participant taking part in the Contest.
20) Resorts World Sentosa shall not be liable to the Participants for any injuries, losses or damages in respect of,in connection with and/or arising from the Contest.
21) Resorts World Sentosa reserves the right to withdraw or cancel the Contest and to amend or change these Terms and Conditions at any time for whatever reason and without giving prior notice to the Participants. The decision of the Resorts World Sentosa on all matters relating to or in connection with the Contest is final, and no correspondence will be entertained.
22) Resorts World Sentosa reserves the right to publish any Participants’ images and details for the above stated purposes without having to pay any fee or compensation to the Participants.
23) The Participant shall fully indemnify and hold Resorts World Sentosa harmless from and against any loss, damage, cost, liability or expense (including legal fees),whether director indirect,which Resorts World Sentosa incurs in respect of, in connection with and/or arising from the Participant’s breach of these Terms and Conditions.
24) In the event of any inconsistency or discrepancy between the Terms and Conditions and the contents of any brochure, marketing and/or promotional materials relating to the Contest,these Terms and Conditions shall prevail.
25) The Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with Singapore law.
The Courts of Singapore shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes arising from these Terms and Conditions, including the validity and enforceability thereof.
26) A person who is not a party to any agreement governed by these terms and conditions shall have no right under the Contracts (Right of Third Parties)Act (Cap 53B) to enforce any of these terms and conditions.
