In line with our on-going effort to educate and inspire the public on marine conservation, S.E.A. Aquarium Society will be organising monthly events such as workshops, talks, beach cleanups and reef cleanups.
These events are only open to S.E.A. Aquarium Society Enthusiasts (SSEs). If you are not yet an SSE, please click here to sign up prior to registering for any event.

What is it about:
In conjunction with international conservation efforts, S.E.A. Aquarium Society is hosting a recycling workshop where you can:
- Learn more about marine plastic litter and how they affect marine life.
- Design your own re-useable tote bag and bring it home
- National Environment Agency (NEA) will be sharing best practices on recycling plastic in Singapore while Zero Waste SG will talk about how to Bring Your Own re-usable plastics.

What is it about:
Do you know that there are sharks in Singapore waters? Some of the most commonly sighted species include Bamboo Sharks and Blacktip Reef Sharks. These marine apex predators play a crucial role in keeping the marine ecosystem in check. Unfortunately, they are threatened with extinction due to overfishing. Come discover more about this amazing species, including:
- How S.E.A. Aquarium takes care of their sharks
- All about sharks in Singapore by Dr Neil Hutchinson, Senior Lecturer of Environmental Science at James Cook University, Singapore.
- Ecotourism for shark conservation in Lombok, presented by Ms Kathy Xu from the Dorsal Effect.
- Recommended for 12 years old and above

Due to limited capacity for each event, places are available on a first come, first served basis. It is recommended that participants under the age of 13 be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
