The Egg-topus has hidden 12 eggs inside the aquarium. Grab the activity sheet at the entrance of Shark Seas and find them. Along the way, you’ll learn about different aquatic animals and their eggs. Kids from 5 to 12 years old get a prize if they complete the trail.
3. Visit the SEA-cret Garden
At the basement of the Maritime Experiential Museum, you’ll find the SEA-cret garden where there will be four habitats, a touch pool and the Egg-tivity area. Here, you can view a collection of colourful fish and play a series of matching games.
The Egg-tivity area is an arts and crafts section for kids. They can make their own 3D egg-topus or colour Egg-topus or Seahorse characters. Take the art work home or hang it on the coral tree structure there.
4. Catch underwater Easter bunny
The elusive underwater Easter Bunny will appear from 12 March to 3 April. We managed to get hold of its schedule and know that it will appear at these locations and timing:
- Open Ocean Habitat at 11am on weekends and public holidays and 2pm daily.
- Shipwreck Habitat at 4pm

5.Manta mascot meet and greet
The adorable S.E.A. Aquarium Manta Mascot Mai will appear with bunny ears to celebrate Easter. Find it at Open Ocean Dome, daily at 2.45pm and 3.45pm. It loves attention so give it a hug and take photos when you see it.
|Underwater egg trivia
Octopus mothers are known as fierce protectors of their eggs. They forgo food and guard their eggs until they hatch. Depending on the species and water temperature, this process can take two to 10 months. Unfortunately, when the babies hatch, the mother would die. Talk about a mother’s love!
