It’s Halloween, time again for all things strange and peculiar. In the spirit of the season, we take a look at five of the weirdest and creepiest looking inhabitants that you can find at S.E.A. Aquarium, Singapore.
#5 Japanese Spider Crab
With legs spanning four metres in length, this gigantic crab is the stuff of nightmares. But looks are deceiving because this crustacean is really a sheep in wolf’s clothing. Read more here.

#3 Scorpionfish
Its leathery fins, skin flaps and mottled pattern make it appear somewhat mouldy or worse, an inconspicuous piece of trash on the sea bed. But the real nightmare lies in those needle-like spines on its dorsal, anal and pelvic fins which can inject venom into potential predators. Read more here.

Fish with a monkey face, anyone? This bizarre-looking fish doesn’t just have a primate-ish face, it also has an eel-like body, Angelina Jolie’s lips, and what looks like a nasty fungal condition all over its head. Read more here.
